Best Adventure Bike for Beginners KTM 390 ADV or BMW G310 GS

What is the best adventure bike for beginners? I have shortlisted the G 310 GS and the KTM 390 Adventure. The KTM 390 adventure is tempting with its electronics and more powerful engine. The 390 ADV makes 43.5 PS while the BMW G310 GS makes only 34 PS. Also, the cruising speed of the KTM 390 adventure is better than the G 310 GS as per test reports ( source ). BMW has recently slashed the prices of the new G310 GS which makes it a lot more affordable than the older version. I love the design of the G 310 GS and it looks much better than KTM. Should I choose the 390 ADV or Beemer?
